Cane Creek played for the first time this year at the Mountain Music Series that I coordinate at Red Top Mountain State Park. They will certainly be invited to join our regular lineup of bands. I have searched long and hard to bring some of the best bands here to Red Top and Cane Creek fit the bill. They are not only wonderful musicians and performers but also are the kind of people that I think represents the Bluegrass spirit; friendly, warm, and outgoing. This is one band I will be glad to give a reference any day! Janice S. Granai - Naturalist Red Top Mountain State Park Cartersville, GA 30120

It was my pleasure over the past weekend to have heard this great Bluegrass Band. The guitar, banjo, bass, fiddle, and mandolin player were all terrific and very professional. If you have an opportunity to hear this group I suggest you run not walk as they truly offer great musical memories. Look forward to seeing and hearing this wonderful Bluegrass ensemble again in the near future. Dan Otte, Southern Optical

Cane Creek played at my parent's 40th wedding anniversary. I have to say, I wasn't totally convinced that blue grass would work with a sit down dinner for 20 with my grandmother's china. Was I ever wrong! Cane Creek was a huge hit! They started playing during dessert and just kept going! All sorts of information about relatives was disclosed - a cousin that used to Buck Dance, my 92 year old grandmother dancing a jig, my parents boggying, my sister and I realizing we LOVE bluegrass! I don't think these secrets could have been revealed with any other band. GO CANE CREEK GO! We had a great time. Thanks for making the 40th anniversary party all the more special.

Cane Creek Bluegrass Band performed at the Squealin' On The Square this past weekend (9-29-2005 & 10-1-2005) and they were awesome. We were very pleased that we could have them back for two (two hour) shows and they delivered. Mark Harvell and the rest of the band are so easy to work with. People are still talking about them, and I am sure we will have them back to Laurens again. David Brannon, Squealin' On The Square, Entertainment Chairman

Dear Cane Creek Bluegrass Band, Dennis and I want to let you know how very much we enjoyed your presence and your pick'n at the barbecue for our son on November 5. Chris let us know about three weeks before he came home that he was indeed coming home. It had been rather iffy. We had wanted to plan a get-together for him, and we realized time was short. That was our first time to do anything like that, and we were quite anxious about everything coming together. When Dennis called Steve to see if he could come and pick with whoever Dennis could round up, we had no idea what was in store for us. We were thrilled when Steve called back to say you all were coming. Talk about having one's cake and eating it too. Y'all were the icing on the cake. And then, the Lord not only answered our prayer for no rain, He gave us a beautiful day! God is so good. We and our guests thoroughly enjoyed the music and the fellowship. It was a wonderful and memorable day for us. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Dannie Glenn (Mrs."Constance" Sorrows)

I was in Hartwell Ga. on Saturday night and caught your performance. You folks are great. It was obvious you enjoyed making music. I really liked the song Jeff wrote about S.C. He should submit it as S.C.'s theme song. He really has the state covered. I think he has southern blood, he just got misplaced. But he is home now. Keep the great music coming! Cola McGill Starr, S.C.

My wife and I along with my mother and step-father saw you perform at the Catfish Feastival in Ware Shoals this year and you were awesome. Steve is a member of the family and we knew how good he is, but the band is great. We will see you at Just More Barbecue in Pendleton in August. Keep up the good work. If bluegrass fans missed the Cane Creek Bluegrass Band show at HomeSpun Bluegrass in Chesnee Sept 13th, they missed a great one. A big "thumbs up" to all the band for an excellent performance. Wish we could have stayed for your second set. Thumper needs to do more vocals ~ he has an awesome voice! We absolutely loved listening to all of you and thought the whole show was terrific. Sure wish you had CD's for sale ~ we'd buy them all! We are so thankful we were able to experience the joy and blessing of your music tonight.

Hi Gang! My mother, brother & I got a real treat by attending your outdoor show in Fountain Inn on Saturday, Aug. 1st. What a great time we had! Your band has to be one of the best bluegrass bands we have ever heard. My mother said it reminded her of listening to the Grand Ole Opry on the radio as a child, and she's 84. Each and every one of the musicians have so much God given talent! Can't wait to hear you again soon! Matthew Weathers, Frances Weathers & Kathryn Johnson from Laurens.
